Dustin and I got an opportunity to spend the morning with Sophie at the PLEASURE PIER, and pleasure it was!! This little dare devil was having a blast riding the "roller coasters". This was our first one - the frog bounce. It goes up really high then drops you down fast, then back up then bounce, the fast drop... get it!?!? Well the first 3 times I thought Sophie needed me on the ride with her. Then on our 4th time she said, she wanted to do it by herself. PTL!! I was more than happy to let her test the waters of her independence. Of course, the first time down by herself -- NO hands!! My child!
After 7 or 8 rounds... yep your read right, we went over the tea cups and went around and around and around as fast as we could.
Are you noticing we are the only ones on the rides?? The place is clean and empty in the morning, at least when we were there 10-12:30 we pretty much had the place to ourselves.
Bummer cars!!
And what fun is it to go to the "carnival" as Sophie called it and not get your face painted! I was able to talk her into just a cute dragonfly--- she wanted a whole face painting... I just saw disaster all over that decision, so dragonfly won ;)
Thanks for the tip. We have been wanting to go. The rides look super fun.
