What a way to start Summer

 My mom finally retired after many many years of working.  Her school had a retirement party for her and we all got to attend.  Part of her celebration of retirement she has volunteered to watch Sophie, Carson and Colton every Tuesday and Thursday this summer.  They have had such an adventure Bayou Wildlife park, Chuckee Cheese, the library, pirate ships.... Sophie is having a blast spending the summer with the cousins.

 Dustin and I have made WAY more trips to Chuckee Cheese than I ever thought I would. Hey its cheap entertainment right?!?  No way man, I am saving every ticket, we have to save up for the good toys :)

 Oh i-Phone... seriously Sophie can work the camera, her favorite thing to do!  So evenings making funny faces are kind of a nightly thing.  She has about 20 apps on the phone and knows how to work all of them and find them on the phone all by herself. 

 Sunday Fundays are pretty much always spend at Papa and Kiki's pool.  The gold turtle is the MVP trophy...of course, Sophie wins it every Sunday.

 Papa found Nana and Sophie pink lockers for all their pool stuff.  They got to decorate the lockers with stickers and markers and Sophie thinks her locker is the coolest thing ever!

 We did make it to the lakehouse with Carson and Colton and Sophie was in Heaven as usual.  Yes, its a screen shot off the phone.... this is what you call a lazy blog :0)

 YAY!! We finally have enough hair to make a real pony tail!!

 Of course every weekend we can spend time with bestie Hayden we do.  The girls LOVE each other.  I am so happy they are so close.  Hayden is so good with Sophie, watches out for her, paints her fingernails (as pictured)  and always shares all her toys. 

 We took the kids to Palm Beach and had a BLAST!!  Its awesome, the lazy..or should I say NOT so lazy river b/c it dumps water, sprays water and is full of boobie traps all the way around you have to stay on point to ride this river.  They have waterslides the girls LOVED, a wave pool which was the best and great friends to enjoy the mini day vacation, makes Palm Beach a top place to visit this summer.

 So this is Sophie's 4th of July outfit!  Yes, I told her to go pick out what she wanted to wear today and this is how she came back!  hilarious

And to wrap up our 1st third of the summer, Papa and Kiki gave Sophie nursery a makeover for her very own big girl room at their house.  The bed is two stories and Sophie thinks it the best thing since finger paint!
