So Dustin and I have decided its time to start working on potty training. We have started asking Sophie if she needs to go potty. We get a blank stare, then she come up to us and says, " Poo poo" while she is holding her bootie.
Dustin scoops her up and runs her to the bathroom. We sit her on the toilet and what do we hear...tinkle tinkle. SOPHIE USED THE POTTY! (8-20-11). We go through all the motions, wipe, flush, watch the water go down, close the lid, wash our hands. She thinks this is pretty fun.
Sunday we try to use the potty a few time.. but no go and she never asked.
Monday today we get her home from school. "Sophie, do you need to potty?"
"No" she says. Few minutes later "Poo Poo" again we scoop her up and run her to the bathroom, sit her down... tinkle tinkle again! We have another success story on the potty.
So it seems she is a little confused on Poo Poo vs. Tee Tee but its a start. I am going to schedule a time to do a 3 day potty training camp. Wish us luck!
