We got Sophie her own "golf cart" and decided what better place to putt around than Brazos Bend Park. Jack, Becky, Daddy, Sophie, Aunt Amanda, Conrad and myself spent an amazing day together. We started by setting up our camp site. Sophie, Becky and I took a little nature walk and photographed everything the insects see. We found perfect walking sticks, studied bugs and climbed in huge trees.

Next we took off for some fishing. Now this was our first time at this park and in case you don't know it's crawling with Alligators. The fishing pier was surrounded by these creepy guys and every time a fish would hit a line the alligators were so fast and snapped to get the fish.
Sophie with the alligator checking us out. Of course, we had to explain why the brothers on Wild Kratz could touch the alligators but we couldn't.
Funny story a little poodle jumped into the lake and no one really knows how the puppy survived, but praise the Lord he did. Another fisherman bravely reached in and helped bring the puppy to safety. To say the least... the alligators thought puppy sounded and looked like a great snack.
Daddy was upset to say that he had a blast at the park :) We are already planning our next Sunday to spend playing around outside at the park.
