For the 4th and Final Four Year Old Birthday Party

For our Final Fourth Birthday party Sophie wanted an intimate Princess Party.  So we had a very small gathering in our back yard.... have I mentioned how much I LOVE our backyard!?!?  Because we have tons of patio space, lush flower beds ( I am becoming such a gardener in)  and a view that is so cool.  In the mornings the water from the creek sparkles in the sun and you hear birds chipping non stop, by lunch time there is somehow always a cool breeze in our backyard and in the evening right before we go to bed the moon glows with a haze over the creek and we listen to crickets and coyotes.

Anyways... back to THE most celebrated 4th birthday ever!
We were at a little bakery a few weeks ago and Sophie saw this cake. She couldn't stop talking about it so we had to order her one.  Then on our invitations we promised "kiss the frog" and our cookies and cake-balls didn't disappoint.

Next promise/ request by the royal princess was pony rides.  The kids were absolutely adorable in their royal attire riding the ponies up and down the creek.  It was a huge hit!

Nothing could get Sophie off a pony until she saw Ethan aka love of her life.

All of the princesses had their hair painted.

Inside of a joust we had a pinata... still royal, right?

Our first family photo as a 4 pack... get it?!!?  We are all about the fours this year.
And finally a royal sword fight.
The day was magical.
