Santa Claus came all the way down from the North Pole to have brunch with our little love bugs. Conrad thought Santa was really funny and giggled the whole time. Sophie wrote her letter with her list of toys and mailed it to Santa's elves, we made squirrel feeders and reindeer food and ate way too much candy.
This year we also took a hayride around the neighborhood with some of our good friends, Avery, Lexi, brother Grant, Bre, Tripp, Graham and Danny. The subdivision was beautiful, I really felt like people went all out this year. We sang Christmas carols and drank hot chocolate.
After we got home from the hayride, Sophie and brother Grant played just like siblings and I found them in the dog kennel.
We had our special friends Christmas at Mandy's and Kim's this year. Carter, Hayden, Josie, Valyn, Sophie and Caroline celebrated this season with an evening of great fun. Everyone got exactly what they wanted and the evening was a success. This was Caroline's first Christmas!
The next morning we headed over to Kim's for annual Christmas Eve baking. I as always made 'non-baked' goods Oreo balls. Mandy made all kinds of yummy cookies and Kim made cakes, cookies, breakfast food the works. The kids exchanged gift and decorated our sugar cookies for us.
